ALTERNATIVE HAIR ANNOUNCES WINNER OF
THE FIRST VISIONARY AWARDS IRELAND!

Alternative Hair held its first ever Visionary Awards Ireland at the Sugar Club in Dublin on Monday 6th July. Alternative Hair founder, Tony Rizzo, Honorary President, Joshua Galvin, TIGI / Alternative Hair PR Linda Evans and TIGI European Education Manager, Phil Collins were judges for the evening and had a near-impossible task of choosing the winner from the high standard of entries.

The Visionary Award was the concept of Alternative Hair President, Anthony Mascolo and is designed to bring forward new artistic talent. This year will be the very first International Visionary Awards and the winner from the Irish Visionary Awards will participate in the International Visionary Awards Finals held during the Alternative Hair Show at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 18th October.

Tony Rizzo commented that he was delighted and amazed at the effort and high standard of work. Every head of hair was commendable and the stylists had really concentrated on every detail of their total image, working totally to the brief, with fantastic fashion styling and makeup. It was a fantastic evening of creative and innovative hair artistry.

The winner of the Irish Visionary Award was Michael Doyle of Peter Mark Salon. In second place was David Murray of Chameleon and in 3rd place Nadine Quinn of House of Colour.
