Rules and Regulations for 2025
The Alternative Hair International Visionary Award is back and bigger than ever for 2025!
Now celebrating over two decades of creativity, this prestigious global competition continues to champion originality and talent in artistic hair design. Founded by Alternative Hair Show President Anthony Mascolo, the International Visionary Award is the only competition of its kind – a true celebration of vision, artistry, and individuality.
We are excited to announce that this year’s International Visionary Award Finals will take place live in Milan, Italy, on Sunday, 26th October 2025, at the stunning Palazzo del Ghiaccio, in association with Hair Vision.
Finalists selected in each category will have their work showcased on this incredible live stage in front of an international audience of leading professionals, media, and influencers. This is your chance to have your artistry celebrated globally at one of the most prestigious events in the industry. We encourage you to submit as many photos as possible to boost your chances of becoming a finalist in the 2025 International Visionary Award Live Event.
RULES & REGULATIONS
1. An entry fee of £50 per photograph is applicable and is a direct donation to our charity Fighting Leukaemia – Alternative Hair Charitable Foundation (Registered Charity: 1147189).
2. You can submit as many photos as you want across all three categories: Cut & Colour, Mens and Avant Garde.
3. Entries should be uploaded as a 10” x 8” or A4 (300dpi) portrait size photograph. Accepted file types: JPG, PNG, PDF. Maximum file size: 5 MB.
4. The images you submit as your entry must have been created in the last 12 months. All images are judged anonymously.
