NEW VICE-PRESIDENT, RUDI MOSTARDA

Tony Rizzo, Alternative Hair Show Founder, is very proud to announce visionary international hairdresser, RUDY MOSTARDA, has accepted the position of Global Vice President of Alternative Hair.

Mostarda has been a constant supporter of the Alternative Hair Show for many years and is looking forward to working closely with Global President, Anthony Mascolo, as the Show and charity move towards an exciting new era.

The founder of Extrema Hair, with over 90 affiliated salons across Italy, Rudy Mostarda is the Global Creative Director of Alfaparf Milano Professional. A hairdressers’ “personal trainer” Mostarda has an educational philosophy aimed at supporting artistic development and salon growth. Creatively, he is well-known name in the world of hairdressing, with a career that has seen him work on hair events across the globe. He and his team are also regularly found backstage at Milan fashion week and on magazine shoots.

As Alternative Hair moves into its 41st year, there is a definite challenge to take this much loved ‘brand’ and the iconic Alternative Hair Show, to a new level. Anthony Mascolo’s introduction of the International Visionary Awards, and his desire to find and promote, new talent is taking Alternative Hair in an exciting direction. Now, the New Visionaries marks the future. Alternative Hair has always been about exposing the unknown, challenging current and future trends and pushing artistry. Moving forwards, it’s time to create new challenges, discover the undiscovered and push creativity and artistry to match the world we are living in today and tomorrow.
