THE INTERNATIONAL VISIONARY AWARDS 2023 – COMING SOON

We know many of you are anticipating the 2023 International Visionary Awards – where artistic hair stylists showcase new and innovative collections to inspire others!

The Alternative Hair Show has spent 40 years raising vital funding for ‘Fighting Leukaemia’, supporting research projects, hospitals and families with a sick child.

We are proud to announce we will soon be announcing more information on how to enter the IVA 2023 as well as application dates. To say the excitement is mounting is an understatement!

Every year over 300 entries are sent to be judged by Worldwide President of Alternative Hair, and creator of The International Visionary Award, Anthony Mascolo, Founder of Alternative Hair, Tony Rizzo, and other leading hairdressers.

The finalists of each category are always invited to send in a video presentation of their work. These films will be shown as part of the live streamed Alternative Hair Virtual Visionary Awards Show, along with video presentations from the New Visionary Teams.

Anthony Mascolo has said: “I came up with the idea of the Visionary Awards to give new and unknown hairdressers the opportunity to showcase their work. Over the years the competition has grown immensely and I am astounded the number of entries we receive from every corner of the Globe.  This year has been exceptional both in the number of entries we’ve received and in the quality of the work. I look forward to seeing the Virtual Alternative Hair Show on 8th October.”
